Meditation and sound are two separate practices, and they work beautifully together.

You can book a guided meditation session on its own, a sound session on its own, or the two combined, where we start with breath and attention and let the sound carry you the rest of the way.

meditation + Sound

Meditation only. Guided practice, one on one or in a small group. Breath work, body scan, loving kindness, or just learning how to sit with yourself without fighting it. If you’ve tried meditation and decided you’re bad at it, this is for you.

Sound only. You rest, fully supported, and I work with singing bowls and other instruments around you. Nothing is asked of you. You don’t have to concentrate or do it right.

Meditation and sound together. We open with guided practice to settle the nervous system, then move into sound so you drop in deeper than you would on your own.

All three are available as private sessions, small or private groups, and for events. Meditation sessions are also available online.

WHAT A SESSION LOOKS LIKE:

Sessions are at my home studio in Austin, with mats, bolsters and props so you can actually get comfortable. Mobile sessions may be available depending on location and distance, and additional driving fees may apply.

We talk first about what you’re coming in for, whether that’s sleep, stress, grief, or you just want an hour where nobody needs anything from you. I build the practice around that.

Session options

Can I book just meditation, or just sound?+

Yes, either one on its own. They're separate practices and each one stands by itself. You can also combine them in a single session if you want both.

I'm bad at meditating. Is this for me?+

Especially for you. A wandering mind isn't a sign you're doing it wrong, it's the whole reason we practice. My training is in guided meditation, so you're not left alone with it. I'll talk you through it.

What is a sound session?+

You rest, fully supported with bolsters and blankets, while I play singing bowls and other instruments around and sometimes on the body. The vibration does the work. There's nothing you need to do or focus on.

What do I wear and what should I bring?+

Anything comfortable you can lie down in. I have mats, bolsters, blankets and props at the studio, so just bring yourself.

How long is a session?+

Reach out and we'll figure out the right length for what you're coming in for. Shorter works well for meditation on its own, and combined sessions need a little more room.

Do you work with groups?+

Yes. Private groups, small groups, retreats, events and teams. Group sound sessions are lovely because everyone is in the same field of sound together.

Is there anything that would make this not a good fit?+

For most people it's very gentle. If you're pregnant, have a pacemaker or other implanted device, or have a history of seizures, let me know before we book and we'll adjust the instruments and placement, or build you a meditation only session instead.

How often should I come?+

Whatever you can sustain. Some people come when things get loud, others keep a steady rhythm so it doesn't get that far. We can figure out a frequency that works for your life and what you're working through.
