Breath-led practice for awareness, connection and nervous system regulation. Private sessions and small groups at my home studio in Austin.

I'm a 200-hour certified teacher and my training is mostly Iyengar based, with additional work in yin, yoga nidra, trauma-informed yoga and somatic healing.

yoga

Yoga is not “just a workout”. The postures are one small part of a practice that is thousands of years old, and what holds the whole thing together is breath and attention. We'll work with asana, pranayama and other yogic principles. Some sessions are stronger. Some are slower and restorative. What doesn't change is that we're practicing presence, not performance. Where we go depends on what you're here for and what your body is asking for that day.

WHAT WE’LL PRACTICE

Session options

Private sessions, small or private groups, and online sessions by request.

I've never done yoga. Is that okay?+

Yes. Private sessions are actually the best place to start, because we go at your pace and I can explain things properly instead of you trying to follow along from the back of a room.

What style do you teach?+

My training is mostly Iyengar based, so there's a lot of attention to alignment and I use props freely. I also pull from yin, yoga nidra and restorative depending on what you need.

Do I need to be flexible?+

No. That's one of the most common reasons people avoid yoga, and it's backwards. Flexibility is something the practice builds, not something you need to bring.

What should I wear and bring?+

Something comfortable you can move in. I have mats and props at my home studio for private sessions. For anything offsite, bring your own mat if you have one.

What is trauma-informed yoga?+

It means the practice is built around choice and safety. Invitational language instead of commands, no hands-on adjustments without asking, and you're always free to opt out of anything. It's how I teach by default.

Where are sessions held?+

My home studio in Austin. I'll send the address when you book. Mobile sessions may be available depending on location and distance.
